Aloys Gangkofner was a glassmaker and glass designer. He lived from 1920–2003. Starting as a glassmaker working with transparent glass he then became a light designer for several Architectural projects such as the Meistersingerhalle in Nuremberg. Gangkofner also was a teacher at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich for decades.
